Bruce Power Donates to Area Hospices
Bruce Power and its partners have donated $100,000 to three area hospices in recognition of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day.
“The availability of quality health care and the well-being of community are key focus areas for Bruce Power’s community investment strategy,”
said Maggie Tieman, Bruce Power’s director of community and external affairs. The donation aims to support hospices in providing quality and dignified care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses.
- Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton is one of the recipients of the donation.
- World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is observed annually to raise awareness and advocate for improved access to services.
