Astoria 6th Grader's Tribute to Teacher on Display
An Astoria 6th grader's heartfelt tribute to his teacher was selected for the Dear NY Exhibit at Grand Central Terminal in October.
The exhibit, which ran from October 19, featured 300 students' work from throughout New York City, including a piece by a student from Francis of Assisi in Queens.
Flores is my favorite teacher and she has helped me the most
The student, Hili, submitted a photograph of his teacher, Jennifer Flores, along with a paragraph describing her positive impact on his life and the lives of his fellow classmates.
