The Montreal Canadiens secured a 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Monday night.

Slafkovsky gave the Canadiens a 2-1 lead when he knocked in his third of the season off a slick feed by defenseman Noah Dobson.
Hutson made it 3-1 with his first of the year, and Evans closed it out with an empty-netter with 31 seconds left. The Sabres' Jiri Kulich and Tyler Kozak also scored.
