The Taliban regime's chief spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, announced on Sunday that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 others wounded during a retaliatory operation by Afghan forces along the Durand Line.
Mujahid stated that the operation, which took place on Saturday night, resulted in the destruction of 20 Pakistani security outposts and the seizure of several weapons. He also reported that nine Afghan soldiers were martyred and 16 others wounded during the operation.

Mujahid said the military action was halted at midnight following requests from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as reported by Afghanistan-based Tolo News.
Additionally, Mujahid claimed that after ISIS-K was defeated in Afghanistan, it began establishing its bases in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
