A Red Flag warning has been issued for most of the Eastern Plains and the Front Range in Colorado due to high winds and low humidity levels.
The National Weather Service has issued the warning, which means weather conditions are favorable for wildfires to ignite and spread quickly, with wind gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour.
Russell Dannielson, a meteorologist with the NWS in Boulder, reported that this is the first Red Flag Warning issued this month.
