Chargers, Greyhounds go five games before Champion prevails

The volleyball match between Boerne High and Boerne Champion at Greyhound Gym was intense, with both teams giving their all before the Lady Chargers won, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 21-25, 22-20.
The match did not affect the district standings, but the teams played with high intensity. Champion improved to 10-3 in district (25-5 overall) and secured a playoff spot, while Boerne slipped to 3-11 in the standings (19-15 overall) and will not advance past the regular season.
Charger senior Taylor Fenton said she knew the Lady Greyhounds were going to give them their best shot.
