Tasmania has secured a thrilling win over Western Australia, avenging one of the tightest losses in Sheffield Shield history from the previous summer.
Tasmania pulled off a remarkable three-run victory, taking two late wickets to claim the win. Western Australia required 259 runs to win and got the margin down to within seven runs with two wickets in hand.
Joel Curtis was adjudged lbw on 50 by a Riley Meredith ball that stayed low from around the wicket.
