"Through the SNAP and other benefits, I was able to find a job and sustain my family and now I'm a U.S. citizen," said U.S. Kubuya Lukambo, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Lukambo shared his experience of relying on SNAP benefits when he and his family immigrated to the U.S., allowing him to buy a car and save money from his job.
