Kenya Celebrates 76 Years of Boran Excellence
The Boran Cattle Breeder's Society (BCBS) Kenya marked its 76th anniversary with a landmark show and auction on September 12 and 13.
Over 200 head of cattle were showcased before an international audience of breeders, ranchers, and buyers from across Africa and Latin America.
“Over 200 head of Boran bulls, females, and steers from across [Kenya] were the treat for visitors from Brazil, Namibia, Paraguay, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, the US, Zimbabwe, and all over Kenya,”
Show judge PJ Budler noted that the quality of the animals was the most impressive aspect of the show.
