In his new movie, Blue Moon, Hawke portrays lyricist Lorenz Hart, part of the legendary songwriting team of Rodgers & Hart.
He says he couldn’t have pulled off this role in his younger years.
This is his ninth collaboration with filmmaker Richard Linklater.
