MTC Addresses Surprise Underground Tank, Anomalous Water Bill

While working on Milford’s waterline, Selge Construction found a 2,500 gallon underground fuel tank under the parkway at Catherine and Shaffer streets. Ryan Lareau of Commonwealth Engineers reported there is still some fluid inside.
Milford resident Dan Buell reported an unusual water meter reading of 13,680 gallons, making for a $325 bill.
No comment from the town council was provided on these matters.
