Actress Cheryl Hines, who has a new memoir, recently discussed her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in an interview with Meghan McCain on "The View".
Last year, Kennedy was asked if he would be willing to become Donald Trump's running mate, to which he replied:
"I don’t think that my marriage would survive it", citing his marriage to Hines. However, months later, Kennedy endorsed Trump, and their marriage appears to have survived.
Hines is currently promoting her memoir, Unscripted, and has been defending her husband's actions, including his spread of health misinformation and his qualifications to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
The interview on "The View" became testy, with Hines parrying attacks on her husband's views.
