Thousands of students across the Hunter have spent the school holidays preparing for the Higher School Certificate (HSC), with over 5,000 students set to take their first exam, English Paper 1, on October 16.
"I think no matter how much I've studied, I'll never feel fully prepared. I just have to trust I've done as much as I can,"
said St Francis Xavier Catholic College student Grace Worland, who will be sitting exams in English Advanced, Maths Advanced, Community and Family Studies, PDHPE, and Biology.
Students have been utilizing various study techniques, including reviewing study notes, attending one-on-one mentoring sessions, and taking breaks to manage their time effectively.
