City Government at Its Worst
A recent visit to a Twin Lakes city council meeting revealed a disturbing reality.
I had heard stories about these meetings from my sister for the last year, but experiencing it firsthand was eye-opening. My brother-in-law's family has lived in this town for a hundred years, and it's disheartening to see the council meetings being taken over by inexperienced individuals.
They are being led by a man who has ruined many lives, schools, and organizations, making it seem like his only livelihood.
The city council members appear to be under his control, with one exception - a member who refuses to abandon her ideals and adhere to the council's rules and meeting guidelines.
