Nevis Competes in Bemidji Cross Country
The Nevis Tigers participated in the Bemidji Invitational at the Greenwood Golf Course, placing 8th in the girls meet and 10th in the boys race.
- Maya Ganley led the girls team with a 40th place finish and a 5K time of 24:00.
- Other team members included Alison Nelson, Kristen Sandmeyer, Kendall Nelson, and Hermina Simkins.
- Sophia Johnson from Moorhead won the girls race with a time of 19:21.
In the boys meet, Bennett Bessler finished 45th with a time of 21:01, followed by Draden Puchalla, Eli Boushee, Wyatt Hudrlik, and Roland Simkins.
Thief River Falls' Curtis Griffin won the boys race with a time of 16:39.
