County Leaders Endorse Pre-K for All Initiative

County judge/executives, mayors, and superintendents are urging the Kentucky General Assembly to fund Pre-K for All.

Last week, 63 county judge/executives and 31 mayors, along with the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents (KASS), endorsed Gov. Andy Beshear's Pre-K for All initiative.

Our counties and families cannot wait. We urge the General Assembly to make expanding pre-K access for all Kentucky 4-year-olds a top priority in the 2026 Budget Session. Together we can support our working families and build our communities.

The endorsements were made through three letters signed and delivered to members of the Kentucky General Assembly, emphasizing the need to expand access to pre-K for all 4-year-olds.
