Hochul Rejects Noem's Shutdown Video
Kathy Hochul and the Port Authority have refused to air a video from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democrats for the federal government shutdown.
The video, deemed "nakedly partisan" by Hochul, will not be shown at New York City-area airports, including JFK and LaGuardia, as well as Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey.
Gov. Kathy Hochul's office and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey made this decision over the holiday weekend.
