Vulnerabilities
- CVE-2025-24990: a zero-day bug in the Agere Modem driver, which has been bundled with Windows for two decades.
- CVE-2025-59230: a zero-day elevation of privilege vulnerability in Windows Remote Access Connection Manager (RasMan).
Microsoft responded to active attacks by removing the vulnerable Agere Modem driver from Windows.
Users running Windows 10 PCs who cannot or will not migrate to Windows 11 should explore other options.
