A college professor, Stephen Geer, 44, has pleaded guilty to a deadly DUI crash that killed a Golden police officer and injured three others.
According to 9NEWS, the charges stem from a crash on Highway 58 last November, where Geer veered off the road and smashed into a Subaru, killing Golden police officer Evan Dunn, 33, and injuring his field training officer, Bethany Grusing, and two others.
Geer pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, third-degree assault, and driving while under the influence of alcohol, just three months before his scheduled trial.
Geer will see time behind bars for his actions.
