Multiple Roads Closed in Llangollen Amid Police Incident
A number of main roads in the centre of Llangollen are currently closed due to an ongoing incident.
People are being asked to avoid the area, with a major emergency response underway.
A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: "A number of main roads in the centre of Llangollen are closed at present due to an ongoing incident."
- At least eight police vehicles and an ambulance are positioned around the Castle Street and bridge area.
- A section of the walkway in Riverside Park, close to the Corn Mill, has been cordoned off with police officers on duty.
The incident is happening on the first day of the annual Llangollen Food Festival, which is still running today.
Organisers of the festival posted on Facebook: "Important notice. This morning a major police incident has happened in Llangollen."
