Israel-Hamas Ceasefire Brings Relief to Michigan Communities
A historic ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas took effect, bringing relief to Michigan communities affected by the 15-month conflict.
The agreement resulted in the return of Israeli hostages held captive for over two years, a halt in bombing in Gaza, and the release of nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
"This is what we have been praying for and looking for and hoping for the last two years," said Rabbi Marla Hornsten of Temple Israel.
