Fiona Johnston will depart Dentsu at the end of this week, after nearly three years with the company.
Currently CEO – client and commercial, Johnston joined from IPG Mediabrands. Her departure follows Kirsty Muddle’s announcement to join Ogilvy, with B&T noting the two events are unconnected.
Johnston’s departure is also unrelated to the rumored sale of Dentsu’s international business. Dentsu is removing her current role to simplify its business and adopt a flatter leadership structure, realigning its model to support strategic capabilities and Media ++ strategy.
Author's summary: Fiona Johnston leaves Dentsu after three years.
