Introduction of e-Courts System in Iredell County
Judicial officials have welcomed the introduction of the new e-Courts system in Iredell County.
"This is an exciting, historic day,"
said North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul Newby during the official rollout at the Iredell County Hall of Justice.
- Iredell County is among the last of the 100 counties to adopt the new system.
- The e-Courts system modernizes the state's court system, transitioning from paper to digital and cloud-based technologies.
- According to Iredell Clerk of Court Jim Mixson, the upgrades will provide the public with 24-hour remote access to court records and other applications.
