First Court Hearing Following Fatal Accident at Hinkley Point C Rescheduled
A court hearing related to a fatal accident at Hinkley Point C (HPC) has been rescheduled from October 14 to December 15, 2025.
Jason Waring, 48, sustained fatal injuries in a construction incident at the site in Bridgwater on November 13, 2022.
- The hearing will take place at Bristol Magistrates' Court.
- Three defendants are involved: NNB Generation Company (HPC) Ltd, Bouygues Travaux Publics SAS, and Laing O’Rourke Delivery Limited.
The decision to begin legal proceedings follows an investigation by the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
