Hull KR Pair on Verge of Rare History
Tyrone May and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves of Hull KR have the chance to join an exclusive group of players who have won Grand Finals in both the Super League and the NRL.
May previously won the 2021 NRL Grand Final with the Penrith Panthers, while Waerea-Hargreaves won three NRL Grand Finals with the Sydney Roosters in 2013, 2018, and 2019.
Adrian Morley is the only British player to have achieved this feat, winning with Sydney Roosters in 2002 and Bradford Bulls in 2005.
A win in the Super League Grand Final would make May and Waerea-Hargreaves part of this rare group of players.
