Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a meeting to assess the development of digital governance and IT initiatives implemented across different departments in Jammu and Kashmir under the support of BISAG-N (Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics).
The review focused on evaluating departmental adoption, progress metrics, and ways to accelerate digital service delivery for citizens.
Atal Dulloo urged the concerned departments to adopt standardized digital modules and ensure that all citizen-facing services are available online. He underscored the need for continued collaboration with BISAG-N for technical support, system updates, and capacity building.
“Every department must ensure its digital systems are not only fully functional but also citizen-friendly, promoting transparency and reliable governance,” said the Chief Secretary.
Departments were directed to regularly monitor the platforms’ performance and report progress to the IT Department for periodic review.
