Elden Ring: Nightreign's The Forsaken Hollows DLC Revealed
The new major DLC update for Elden Ring, titled The Forsaken Hollows, was announced during the Sony State of Play livestream. It is scheduled for release on December 4th.
Returning and New Characters
The trailer showcases familiar faces and upcoming bosses, including the iconic Artorias from Dark Souls, a fan-favorite requested by many players. Other returning foes include the Dancing Lion from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and a field boss version of the Gladius Nightlord.
Two new playable characters are introduced:
- Scholar – An academic specializing in arcane skills who gains remarkable advantages by observing the battlefield.
- Undertaker – An abbess skilled in strength and faith who dispatches enemies with ruthless efficiency.
New Features and Events
A new Shifting Earth event called The Great Hollow will be featured. It includes exotic temples, remnants of an ancient civilization, and crystals emitting a cursed, life-draining miasma.
Atmosphere and Story Hints
"In our war against the Night, every battle left a scar. These wounds were given will. A foul life, born of cast-away souls. Steel your resolve, Nightfarers. This hunt must be seen to its end."
