FromSoftware has announced the release of Elden Ring: Nightreign’s new DLC titled The Forsaken Hollows, set to arrive on December 4. The expansion was unveiled during PlayStation’s recent State of Play event, confirming that it will be available ahead of March 2026.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the update introduces players to the “Great Hollow,” a massive chasm deep within Limveld that disrupts the land’s foundation. Within it lie ancient ruins, eerie glowing crystals that drain life, and monstrous foes waiting to strike.
Players will be able to continue their journey as their seasoned Nightfarer or choose from two newly added archetypes: the Scholar, a tactician driven by intellect, and the Undertaker, a steadfast abbess known for her strength and faith. The DLC also brings back iconic battles, teasing confrontations with formidable figures like the Shadow of the Erdtree’s Dancing Lion and the Dark Souls legend, Knight Artorias.
“In our war against the Night, every battle left a scar. A foul life, born of cast-away souls. Steel your resolve, Nightfarers. This hunt must be seen to its end.”
The Forsaken Hollows DLC expands Elden Ring’s world with new heroes, brutal challenges, and a lore-rich descent into Limveld’s mysterious depths.
