The next add-on for From Software's roguelike/souls-like game, Elden Ring Nightreign, will arrive sooner than expected. Initially anticipated for March 2026, the developer revealed that The Forsaken Hollows DLC will launch on December 4, 2025, for consoles and PC.
The announcement came during PlayStation's State of Play livestream on November 11, 2025. A trailer posted on publisher Bandai Namco's official X account showcased some of the DLC's new content, including two new playable characters, a new Shifting Earth event, and additional enemies.
"In our war against the Night, every battle left a scar. These wounds were given will. A foul life, born of cast-away souls. Steel your resolve, Nightfarers. This hunt must be seen to its end."
From Software marketing representative Miku Watanabe provided further details on the PlayStation Blog. The Forsaken Hollows introduces two Nightfarers:
