Brown University Economics Professor Wins Nobel Prize
Peter Howitt, a professor emeritus of economics at Brown University, has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
He was recognized
for the theory of sustained growth through creative destruction.
Howitt joined the Brown faculty in 2000 and shares the award with Joel Mokyr and Philippe Aghion.
