North Lincolnshire Honors Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will gather outside The Baths Hall starting at 10:10 AM and begin moving at 10:25 AM.
- Participants can enjoy tea and coffee inside the venue from 9:30 AM or assemble outside from 10:00 AM.
- The procession, featuring serving personnel, veterans, military groups, and uniformed organizations, will march along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
- The remembrance service will start at 10:45 AM, including an Act of Remembrance and a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM, followed by wreath laying.
- The parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
Post-Service Gathering
After the ceremony, The Baths Hall will host refreshments to allow attendees time for reflection and community connection.
