Thursday, 6 November 2025: Jetstar is making it easier and more affordable for travellers departing from the Sunshine Coast to embark on international adventures, introducing new direct flights to Bali and seamless onward connections to Singapore starting .
Operating three times a week on Jetstar’s advanced Airbus A321LR aircraft, the Sunshine Coast to Bali (Denpasar) service will provide more than 70,000 low-fare seats each year. It marks a major milestone as Jetstar becomes the first airline to offer direct flights between these two destinations.
“With a direct flight time of just six hours, travellers can now skip the trip to Brisbane and fly straight to Bali’s beaches, culture, and tropical charm — saving time, money, and the road journey.”
This new route is Jetstar’s tenth direct connection from Australia to Bali and its fourth originating in Queensland. The launch follows the earlier success of the airline’s Gold Coast route. The new schedule also aligns with Jetstar’s existing services between Bali and Singapore, enabling passengers to depart the Sunshine Coast in the morning and reach Singapore by dinner time.
Jetstar expands its Queensland network with a new Sunshine Coast–Bali route starting March 2026, offering affordable fares, direct convenience, and easy onward links to Singapore.
