Starting in March 2026, Jetstar will begin operating flights from the Sunshine Coast to Denpasar three times a week using its A321neo LR aircraft. The route will add over 70,000 seats annually and connect travelers onward to Singapore.
The airline will launch this new Sunshine Coast–Singapore service via Bali as part of its continued network expansion across South-East Queensland.
“We’re proud to be the first airline to connect the Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore. It’s a great win for travellers wanting an easy international getaway,” said Jetstar chief executive Stephanie Tully.
Tully added that the new flights will allow travelers to spend less time commuting to Brisbane and more time enjoying Bali. She emphasized Jetstar’s commitment to offering low fares and expanding operations in the region.
This route marks Jetstar’s tenth direct connection between Australia and Bali and its fourth from Queensland, following the recent Gold Coast–Denpasar launch.
According to Sunshine Coast Airport chief executive Chris Mills, the new service is a “game changer” for the region. “For the first time, locals can fly direct to Bali for an island holiday. But it gets even better: after a short stop in Bali, the flight continues on to Singapore – a global hub.”
Jetstar will open Sunshine Coast routes to Bali and Singapore in 2026, expanding South-East Queensland’s international links and boosting local tourism and convenience for travelers.
