Emmanuel Joseph Bacosa Pacquiao, known as Eman, is making waves in the boxing world. He recently appeared on the show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” where he discussed his passion for boxing and his journey so far.
Born in 2004, Eman is the son of world boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and Joanna Rose Bacosa. The two met when Joanna worked as a waitress, and their relationship eventually led to the birth of Eman.
Eman discovered boxing at the age of nine, inspired by his father's legendary career. The match that first captured his interest was Manny Pacquiao's fight against Shane Mosley.
“I tried it, and from then on, it seemed like I also grew to love boxing.”
Eman has already built an impressive record of seven wins, zero losses, one draw, and four knockouts. He also stood out during the “Thrilla in Manila 2” event, organized by his father in honor of the 50th anniversary of the historic Ali–Frazier fight in the Philippines.
To gain experience, Eman joined a local boxing match in Tagum. Coincidentally, he fought one of his school bullies, winning after three rounds and earning 200 pesos, which he gave to his mother.
Author’s summary: Eman Bacosa Pacquiao, son of Manny Pacquiao, is an emerging Filipino boxer whose early passion, discipline, and undefeated record show promise for a remarkable future in the sport.
