Gallagher Securities hires Cassis from Swiss Re as Senior ILS Structurer
Gallagher Securities, the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and capital markets broker-dealer arm of reinsurance broker Gallagher Re, has reinforced its structuring capabilities with the addition of Caroline Cassis. She joins from Swiss Re, where she specialized in catastrophe bond and ILS structuring.
This appointment follows the recent hiring of Andras Bohm from BMS as Global Head of Structuring. Cassis will report to Bohm and will work from Gallagher Securities’ New York office.
She brings extensive experience across reinsurance and capital markets, joining in the position of Senior ILS Structurer. Cassis began her career at BlackRock in 2017 within the private equity team based in Zurich, before moving to Swiss Re as a private equity analyst. In 2020, she transitioned into reinsurance business development and later, in 2022, into the capital markets division at Swiss Re.
“Gallagher Re continues to expand its structuring expertise in the insurance-linked securities sector,” the company stated.
