Arc Raiders Players Receiving In-Game Compensation For Server Struggles

Arc Raiders Players Receive Compensation for Server Issues

Embark Studios has announced compensation for players affected by server difficulties in Arc Raiders over the weekend of November 2, 2025. Everyone who logged in that day will receive 500 Raider Tokens as a gesture of goodwill.

Server Struggles During Peak Player Count

The official Arc Raiders account on X acknowledged the problems, stating, “We appreciate your patience as our servers had a wobble on Sunday, Scrappy must've pecked a few wires loose, he's been put on the naughty step 🐓.” On November 2, SteamDB recorded a new peak concurrent player count of 354,836 on Steam alone.

“[...] our servers had a wobble on Sunday.” “As a token of our thanks, we're sending 500 Raider Tokens to all Raiders who logged in on Sunday.”

Context and Platform Availability

Arc Raiders also set a record for extraction shooters with PvP on Steam. The game is available not only on Steam but also on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store, meaning the total player base is even larger than Steam's numbers indicate.

Previous Server Issues and Release Timing

Similar server challenges occurred at launch on October 30. Such issues are common with new multiplayer games and reflect strong player interest. Embark Studios' decision to release the game between Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 helped position Arc Raiders during a competitive period.

Future Plans for Arc Raiders

Embark Studios confirmed they will not introduce “novelty” skins, focusing instead on maintaining the core aesthetic of the game.

“Looking ahead, Arc Raiders won't add 'novelty' skins, instead focusing on the game's aesthetics.”
Author's Summary

Embark Studios addressed server challenges in Arc Raiders by compensating players with in-game tokens, highlighting strong player demand and focusing on gameplay aesthetics over cosmetic additions.
