Joe Keery Donates $1 Per Ticket to Support LGBTQ+ Youth

Joe Keery, widely recognized for portraying Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, is expanding his creative reach as a musician under the stage name Djo. Currently touring with his third studio album, The Crux, Keery is using his platform to spotlight an important cause: supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

During his Another Bite Tour, Keery pledged to donate one dollar from each ticket sold to The Ally Coalition (TAC), an organization dedicated to assisting young LGBTQ+ people who face discrimination and marginalization.

“We had the privilege of speaking with @Djo before his last show of the tour at The Greek Theatre in LA. Djo donated $1 per ticket sold to TAC on his Another Bite Tour in support of LGBTQ+ youth.”

TAC, founded by music producer Jack Antonoff and fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, has long leveraged the influence of music and fandom communities to promote equality and support for LGBTQ+ youth. Keery’s gesture demonstrates his commitment to meaningful advocacy beyond the stage and screen.
