The planned Thursday night taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! was unexpectedly canceled this afternoon. The episode was originally scheduled to feature David Duchovny, Joe Keery, and musical guest Madison Beer.
Instead of the new episode, ABC is broadcasting a repeat of the October 28 show. The network has not issued an official reason for the cancellation.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, @jimmykimmellive needed to reschedule my performance that was originally scheduled to air tonight to a later date,” wrote Madison Beer in a social media post earlier today.
Sources familiar with the situation told LateNighter that the decision was related to a personal matter. The show is expected to resume with fresh episodes next week.
