Inter Milan vs Kairat Almaty: Chivu Encourages Lautaro to Smile More
Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu has advised team captain Lautaro Martínez to approach the game with more positivity ahead of tomorrow’s matchup against Kairat Almaty.

Chivu remarked during a press conference covered by FCInterNews, as he discussed the Argentine forward’s recent dip in domestic form.
Martínez has gone four straight Serie A games without scoring, his last goal coming in the 4–1 victory over Cremonese at the beginning of October. Across the first ten league matches of the season, he has managed three goals. Despite this lull in domestic play, Lautaro has been in excellent shape in Europe, netting three goals in as many Champions League appearances, making him Inter’s leading scorer in continental competition.
Although Martínez continues to perform impressively on the European stage, Chivu is reportedly considering resting him for the upcoming fixture. The coach might instead field Francesco Pio Esposito alongside Ange-Yoan Bonny in the attack.
In brighter news for the Nerazzurri, Marcus Thuram has returned to full fitness after a lengthy absence, providing Chivu with additional attacking options.
