The artist Sauce unveils his latest exhibition that deconstructs the daily act of performance we all engage in — the intentional smile, the persona of being a 'good person' shaped by social pressure and expectation.

This show continues from Sauce’s 2023 solo project Exoskeleton, which explored the notion of the "Body under Body" — the shell built to protect or disguise one’s true self. In Smile by Order, the artist pushes further, questioning what remains authentic when expression becomes automatic, and when courtesy mutates from choice into a survival mechanism.
The works ultimately provoke reflection on how society trains individuals to master emotional performance, smiling through restraint while the genuine self stays hidden under thick layers of conditioning.
