Responding to Organised Crime in Africa: Assessing the Past and the Future

Over the past eight years, organised crime in Africa has undergone significant changes. The European Union-funded ENACT project offers valuable empirical research, technical support, and capacity building, shedding light on these developments.

This conference gathers experts and stakeholders to examine criminal trends and evaluate the effectiveness of policy responses. Discussions will focus on priorities and strategies to strengthen both community and state resilience against organised crime across Africa.

Speakers will discuss priorities and ways to build community and state resilience to organised crime across the continent.

The hybrid conference is co-hosted by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), and INTERPOL. Simultaneous interpretation in English and French will be available.
