Patti Smith Performs on Colbert and Announces 50th Anniversary Tour
Patti Smith appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, reflecting on her groundbreaking album Horses and discussing her newest memoir, Bread of Angels. During the show, she also performed “Peaceable Kingdom” from her 2004 album Trampin’, accompanied by Tony Shanahan.
Celebrating 50 Years of Horses
Next week, Patti Smith will begin a North American tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her seminal album Horses. Recognized as one of the greatest albums ever, Horses was ranked 17th highest by Consequence in 2022.
