Paden Ferguson and his partner managed to secure the only two viral Bearista cups available at their local Starbucks. Customers were upset that the store stocked such a limited amount.

When Starbucks launched its new holiday drinks and desserts in October, they also introduced a small holiday bear cup, featuring a green beanie hat and straw, which quickly went viral on social media. Everyone was excited about the bear cup.

My partner and I initially thought it would be easy to get the bear cup the day it launched on November 6th by simply walking into the store at noon. However, we soon realized many others had the same plan.

As the release approached, we decided to check how many cups our local Starbucks stores planned to sell to gauge the competition. On the evening of November 5th, we visited the busiest of five local stores to ask. The barista told us they only had seven cups in stock.

"Seven," the barista said when asked about the number of bear cups available.

Based on this, we prepared to arrive early on launch day. Our efforts paid off, and we secured the two cups available at that store.
