Millie Bobby Brown Reveals 'Stranger Things' Costar Is Her Baby’s Godparent

Millie Bobby Brown, who matured on screen alongside her Stranger Things family, has now entered a new chapter in life — motherhood. The 21-year-old Emmy-nominated actress and her husband Jake Bongiovi, son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, welcomed a baby girl through adoption over the summer, following their private wedding in May 2024.

The couple has yet to share their daughter’s name, but during the premiere of Stranger Things season 5 on November 6, Brown revealed who from the cast was chosen as the baby’s godparent.

“Sadie is very, very maternal, but you know, Noah’s the godfather,”

she told Entertainment Tonight when asked which of her costars she trusts the most around her daughter.

“I trust all of them, to be honest. They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves. Their baby voice comes out when they’re around her, so it’s amazing.”

Brown’s selection of Noah Schnapp as godfather wasn’t unexpected, given their long-standing friendship. Schnapp, 21, expressed his happiness about witnessing Brown’s transition into parenthood.

“It’s honestly the greatest joy. It’s actually crazy to me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent, young, silly girl — and now she’s a mom and married. I’m just so proud of her.”

Their enduring friendship now extends into the next generation, strengthening the bond that has long captured fans of the beloved series.
