Lisa Riley is reportedly set to participate in this year's series of the ITV jungle survival show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! The Emmerdale actress, 49, plans to actively engage in the challenging Bushtucker Trials to win stars, which translate into meals for her fellow campmates.
Speaking to Betway, Lisa shared her straightforward mindset towards the tasks:
"If I were to do anything regarding any of the tasks, then I am the sort of person who doesn’t overthink anything; I would just take it hands-on and tackle it."
Lisa acknowledged her fears but emphasized the importance of overcoming them, not just in the jungle but in life generally. She said:
"There are various things I am scared of, and walking under ladders is one of them. It’s not just a case of [bugs and snakes], in life you can be scared of lots of things, and bad manners is a good one to be scared of."
With ongoing rumors linking her to the show, Lisa hinted that 2025 might be the right time to commit to participating. She reflected:
"Maybe it's the year when I really need to think about going in. But listen, they ask me every year – the carrot is always dangled. So, I’m not going to say yes or no, but all I can say is, maybe it is something I should think about doing after seeing all of the love for me going in or for potentially doing it is unbelievable."
Author's summary: Lisa Riley is tipped to take on the Bushtucker Trials in I'm A Celebrity 2025, ready to face her fears with a hands-on attitude and consider joining the show after years of speculation.
