Remembrance Day Garbage Collection Advisory

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment announces that garbage collection will not occur on [translate:Tuesday, November 11], due to the [translate:Remembrance Day] holiday.

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment is advising that household waste will not be collected on the Remembrance Day holiday, Tuesday, November 11.

Garbage usually planned for Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, followed by subsequent collections delayed by one day, with Friday's waste collected on Saturday.

This week is designated for recycling collection, which will continue as usual: west end recycling on Thursday and east end on Friday.

Residents may also drop off household waste and recycling at the Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off on Tuesday, [translate:11 November], from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Regular hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm will resume thereafter.
