Background and Service

Gérald Caussé, originally from Bordeaux, France, has served as the church’s Presiding Bishop for the past decade. His responsibilities included overseeing humanitarian aid efforts, welfare programs, church finances such as tithing and fast offerings, as well as management of facilities and membership records.

Earlier in his ministry, Caussé served as a counselor in the Presiding Bishopric between 2012 and 2015 and as a General Authority Seventy from 2008 to 2012.
