The City of Brampton will hold two main events to mark Remembrance Day: a parade and a remembrance ceremony at city hall.
The remembrance ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. at Ken Whillans Square, located in front of city hall at 2 Wellington St. W., near the Brampton Cenotaph.
There will also be a sunrise service at 7:55 a.m. at Meadowvale Cemetery Church, 7732 Mavis Rd.
The city also observes Black Veterans Day on November 7 and Indigenous Veterans Day on November 8.
Veterans with medals, berets, uniforms, blazers, War Veteran Passes, or service papers can ride free all day on Brampton Transit.
For further details, please check official city communications.
On November 11, Brampton honors its veterans with ceremonies and recognizes Black and Indigenous Veterans days while adjusting services and facilities accordingly.
