The comedian Alan Carr, 49, claimed victory on Celebrity Traitors after a tense final on Thursday night, successfully concealing his Traitor role from the other contestants.
Following the episode, Carr publicly apologized to his friend Paloma Faith, 44, for eliminating her on the show.
On the spin-off Uncloaked, Carr revealed feelings of deep guilt for deceiving his friends, especially for targeting close friend and pregnant singer Paloma Faith.
He explained that he chose Paloma as the first victim by touching her face with pollen from a fake poisoned lily, which left her angry at his betrayal.
"The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside. And you've got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone's face."
Attempting to justify his actions to host Ed Gamble, Alan said he felt "awful" and insisted there was no alternative but to pick his friend.
Despite the competitive setting, Alan Carr expressed sincere remorse for deceiving and eliminating his friend Paloma Faith, highlighting the emotional challenges of the game.
