Bradley Cooper, Ben Affleck, Ryan Coogler Among Presenters for Michael B. Jordan’s American Cinematheque Tribute

Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, and Ryan Coogler will join a distinguished group of presenters at the American Cinematheque Award ceremony honoring Michael B. Jordan on November 20.

The 39th annual event will draw several of Jordan’s well-known colleagues and collaborators. The tribute will feature appearances by Oscar winners Daniel Kaluuya, Mahershala Ali, and Octavia Spencer, as well as Delroy Lindo, Phylicia Rashad, Tessa Thompson, and producer Irwin Winkler, who will all take the stage to celebrate the honoree.

Donna Langley, chairman of NBC Universal Entertainment and Studios, is set to present the MPA’s Charles H. Rivkin with the Power of Cinema Award.

“I Lied to You” from the film Sinners, will be performed by Miles Caton, Ludwig Göransson, and Raphael Saadiq during the ceremony.

Michael B. Jordan’s recognition follows his dual role performance as twins Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler’s critically acclaimed film Sinners, released earlier this year.

The ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton and serves as an annual fundraiser supporting the American Cinematheque’s year-round programming at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, the Los Feliz 3 Theatre, and the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
